Artist Bio

Jonathan Smith, known as both Lil Jon and the the king of crunk, quickly became one of the most familiar faces of the 2000s. Lil Jon entered the industry by working as an A&R agent in the late 90s before starting his own group, Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, made up of himself, Lil Bo and Big Sam. The group released three albums before releasing the 2002 album, Kings of Crunk, which featured the Top Five hit “Get Low” with the Ying Yang Twins. He released his first and only solo album in 2010 and since then, has featured on countless top hits. In 2016, Lil Jon was listed as one of the Top Billboard Music Award Winners of All Time.
